A 2024 project was creating the www.JimOnTheStreet.com website. This site shows me interviewing various people on the street regarding evolution and creation. With the paid help of a graphic artist, Compare Sides is my first attempt at putting my toe in the water of politics. I'm a long time entrepreneur. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle. I also hold a masters of divinity, an MDiv. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological seminary in Mill Valley California.  That school's name has been changed to Gateway Seminary.

In December, 2024 my wife and I will celebrate 40 years of marriage. We have one daughter whom we dearly love. She thinks we're OK.

In the world of politics I think there is far too much hate going around. However, far more threatening is those who want to shut down free speech in order to limit the hate speech and what some consider disinformation.  I heard comedian Greg Gutfeld define hate speech as the speech that the haters hate. We need to be reminded what free speech is and why understanding it is so important to our democracy. The following is on the ComparingSides Speech page but is so good I am repeating it here. In fact, the most blatant and verifiable examples of censorship was with Biden-Harris opponent RFK Jr in keeping him from gaining traction in his election bid for the Whitehouse in 2024! What is the purpose of this website?

Most of this site is linked to YouTube. It also has lots of links to other sites, verifying my points. My hope is you will find this website helpful to quickly grasp the issues. Agreed, it is not a fair and unbiased analysis of the two candidates and their policies. I admit it.

I have too many friends that are wavering on who to support because they don't like mean, orange, bad-boy Trump. I'm hoping this site will help to persuade at least one of them to vote for Trump-Vance who would not otherwise. Or, maybe it will be a stranger. If that is you, please let me know.

Who wants to vote for a guy who has done bad things? Someone who is not perfect as a wealthy businessman. He uses bad language! He has insulted women, for God's sake! Oh, my god, what to do?

Well, have you considered that the world is in two major wars right now? Have you considered that Biden-Harris allowed, (or maybe something worse) this insanity by giving Iran access to billions of dollars and releasing sanctions on them!  To learn more go to the page War. Have you considered the insane way the USA exited from Afghanistan  leaving behind $7 billion of military equipment for the Taliban to confiscate, use and sell to our enemies! Could a US administration be any more stupid?

Yes, there are many reasons to vote for the bad orange man. How about -- to save the world from nuclear war and endless wars! How about to stop the immigration disaster? Do you remember that on the first day of the Biden-Harris administration that Biden signed executive orders to stop the building of the border wall. Meanwhile Biden-Harris continue to say, "Oh, no biggie, there has always been a problem at the border." In June of 2021 he stopped the remain in Mexico policy! He opened the border for unlimited fentanyl, unlimited sex trafficking, unlimited money to the Mexican cartels!

Do you understand that under Biden-Harris, the US not only imported unknown millions of undocumented immigrants, we also imported unknown numbers of lethal gangs. You know, like Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua making their home in Colorado. Oh,but now they are in NYC! When will they be in your city?

When thinking of your vote, have you considered the thousands of Chinese military age men who have come into the United States? Is communist China waiting for just the right time to unleash terrorism within the United States at Xi Jinping's bidding? Maybe that sounds conspiratorial? Did the Chinese intentionally unleash COVID 19 on the world? Did they provide the CDC with information about the virus early on? NO! Do they want Taiwan? Yes!

If these are things that deeply concern you, as they do me. Please vote for the the independent not-bought-by-special-interests bad orange man and save the USA before it is forever gone.  Trump is a known commodity. He kept us out of wars. He reduced taxes. More people of all cultural backgrounds were working when he was president. Unemployment was low. Inflation was low. Crime was being dealt with swiftly. Against every obstacle the Democrats could throw at him, he still was able to get much of the border built. MS-13 and other gangs were forced to go back to their home country. The Remain in Mexico policy helped to keep the border safe until Biden canceled the deal in June of 2021. Under Trump we were energy independent for the first time. Trump was allowing the Keystone XL pipeline to be built with tens of thousands of good paying jobs, but Biden canceled it on day one of his administration. Trump kept us safe. Biden gave us chaos, inflation, wars and a divided nation with all its identity politics!
