There is hope for those who seek it from the LORD
It is in Jesus
Let's play "make believe." Mike is a good guy, he goes to church every week and sometimes two or three times in a week. He follows the church's rituals, he offers many prayers, goes to the priest to confess his sins and does what the priest says. Mike wants to go to heaven but he has no confidence he will get there when he dies.
Tina is an atheist, she went to church as a kid but came to accept evolution which lead her to believe there is no God. When she dies, she believes she is done. In her mind, there is no Heaven, no Hell and certainly there is no God. Mike and Tina represent many people today.
The Bible says both Mike and Tina are wrong and both are in danger of eternal condemnation. The Bible reveals that despite the condemnation of the unsaved, God is indeed loving and kind. The Bible also reveals, God is righteous, holy and He demands justice for sin. That may sound like a lot of spiritual mumbo jumbo. Hang with me.
The Bible says God provided a way for Mike and Tina to know Him and to have their sins forgiven and cleansed. Really? How can you break away from the condemnation for your sins?
The keys to the kingdom can be expressed as the following: First key, understand that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one--one God. Second key, admit to God that you are a sinner. We have a sin nature and we love to sin. Admit it. Third key, we can not fix the sin problem. Sin separates us from God and there is nothing we can do to fix it. As long as Mike thinks trusting in the church, following the churches rules will save him, they won't. Fourth key, God the Father, sent God the Son to become a human and eventually be slain, and then three days later rise again. Jesus died for us. His blood is in exchange for those who believe in and accept Jesus sacrifice for their sins. Fifth key, ask Jesus, in prayer to accept you as His child. Jesus did it all. You must accept His sacrifice for you. Sixth key, read the book of John in the Bible and find a good church that teaches the Bible. Contact me with questions.
Tina has rejected God wholly. Her honesty regarding her belief that there is no God will not help her. Tina's "goodness" will NOT prevent Jesus from judging her for her sins and then sending her into eternal separation from God.
Unfortunately, too many people reject the message of salvation from the Bible. Instead of humbling themselves, they rely on their own wisdom, self love, self-help books, etc. so they can continue to rule their own lives instead asking Jesus to save them.
What about you? Will you turn away from good works and religion and ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from your sins?
Unless Tina and Mike change and accept Jesus, they will be judged for their sins. Once they die without Christ as their Savior, there is no more hope. The test is over and there are no "do overs". This is why you must seek for salvation in Jesus now. To learn more go to: www.IFoundPeace.org

He is God
As Jesus was walking with His disciples and discussing who people think Jesus is, He then asked them who do you think I am? This question resulted the disciple Peter saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
But what about you? Who is Jesus to you? Some guy in history? A good teacher? Or Lord?
Many people believe that Jesus is inconsequential. He is from 2,000 years ago, which was a very long time ago. How can He matter in your life today? Answer: He matters in every way possible!
If you are serious is finding hope, then you must become serious about Jesus. He is the MOST consequential person in history. What you think of Him profoundly matters.
Real life is found in Him
Where do you find hope? In money, things, friends, government, education? These all fail. There is only one rock and one giver of life. Consider Jesus, who is God. He wants you to know Him."
"...Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved..." Acts 16:31.
